Flat Plate Solar Thermal Collector
Flat Plate Solar Thermal Collectors are usually mounted on the roof but they can also be mounted on the ground for optimum performance if your roof isn't suitable. They can be combined with your heating and hot water system to aid in part L compliance and help improve a property's Code for Sustainable Homes rating.
A Solar panel is a packaged, connected assembly of photovoltaic cells, they are designed to absorb the sun’s rays for generating electricity or heating.
Ground Source Heat Pumps
Ground source heat pumps use pipes which are buried in the garden to extract heat from the ground. This heat can then be used to heat radiators, underfloor or warm air heating systems and hot water in your home.
Underfloor heating and cooling is a form of central heating and cooling which achieves indoor climate control for thermal comfort using conduction, radiation and convection.
